Terms & Conditions
These Terms govern your access to and use of CoreLab. Please read them carefully before using the software.
1. Introduction
CoreLab is an offline pathology and diagnostic laboratory management software developed and owned by CoreLab. By installing, accessing, or using CoreLab, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Nature of the Software
CoreLab is a desktop-based offline software. Internet connectivity is not required for daily lab operations. Internet access is required to purchase and download the software, receive a license key, obtain updates, or use remote support. A received license key can be verified and activated offline.
3. License & Permitted Use
- The software is licensed, not sold.
- The annual license is issued to the laboratory name signed into the key and remains valid for 365 days from its issue date.
- During that term, the same key may be used on any number of supported Windows PCs operated by that same laboratory.
- The key is not tied to computer hardware, but it may not be shared with, transferred to, or used by a different laboratory.
- You may not copy, modify, resell, lease, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or distribute the software.
4. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Keeping login credentials and license keys confidential
- Maintaining regular backups of local data
- Ensuring correctness of patient and test data entered
- Compliance with applicable healthcare and data protection laws
5. Data Storage & Privacy
All laboratory and patient data is stored locally on the user's system. CoreLab does not automatically collect, upload, or store patient data on external servers.
6. Limitation of Liability
CoreLab is provided on an "as is" basis. CoreLab shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including data loss, revenue loss, or diagnostic inaccuracies arising from misuse, hardware failure, malware, or third-party actions.
7. Updates & Modifications
CoreLab reserves the right to modify or update the software and these Terms at any time. Continued use of CoreLab after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Support & Maintenance
Technical support is provided according to the purchased plan. Internet connectivity may be required for remote support or updates.
9. Termination
CoreLab reserves the right to suspend or terminate the software license in cases of misuse, piracy, or violation of these Terms. Upon termination, usage of the software must stop immediately.
10. Third-Party Integrations
CoreLab may integrate with third-party hardware or services such as printers or SMS gateways. CoreLab is not responsible for failures or issues caused by third-party systems.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Indian courts.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By installing or using CoreLab, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
